Sevenoaks although determined to grab 3 points on Saturday, looked as though they were out for a sunday stroll in the first 20 minutes.
New Becs took advantage of this and engineered several attacks causing our defence and midfield to work very hard, in particular the defence with Holly, Rhino and Nic Butler doing their utmost best to combat their onslaught at our goal.
The breakthrough came for the opposition when a soft shot fooled our MOM keeper Holly to make it one nil. Oaks did their best to level the score with Pia Tucker getting a shot on target and Fleur despite lack of sleep running her socks off in the final quarter of the pitch.
New Becs second goal came from advantage being played in the circle and the quick thinking forward slotting the ball into the goal.
Despite Sevenoaks battling away, New Becs could not miss their 3rd when two of our players were sent to the halfway line from a penalty corner leaving their forward to have pretty much an open goal.
The second half was 0-0, with all of our players running their heart out and trying best to grab a goal.
It did not help though when Pricey got confused with what way we were playing therefore receiving the Donkey award. The ladies are not downhearted and will do their best this saturday as they welcome Brombecks at home.
