Ladies 6's V Burnt Ash 4's

Never the best weather to play in and maybe it affected our play a little. Slow to get going this week but we were so unlucky not to have scored more goals in the first half, I think if we had it would have been a different game. After BA went up one nil, it put the wind up us. They were very compact at the back and it was difficult to get through but after a great assist by the Captain, Esme got an amazing touch sending it into the back on the net. In the second half we still had some chances but it wasn't to be. Individuals on the team are really improving their game with small skills improving and making their game better. As a team we are really coming together and know what is needed to play a nice game of hockey.

This week votes for Player of the Match were spread out, which reflects the input each person had on the game. Votes went to Satara, Fay, Bully, Leanne, with Juliette getting 2 and a 3 way joint POM going to Jess, Esme and Grace with 3 each. Well done girls. A few votes for Donkey this week with Jill just missing out to Fay for a spectacular floor display!
