At Sevenoaks Hockey Club, we’ve made a clear commitment:
keep junior hockey accessible, affordable and excellent.

We’re proud that we’ve held junior membership fees steady for three seasons running — while continuing to offer one of the most comprehensive and inclusive junior programmes in the region.

What makes our approach different?
Most clubs either:

• Raise fees regularly to cover increasing admin and coaching costs
• Or rely on a few volunteers doing a huge amount of work behind the scenes

We’ve chosen a different path — one that shares the load across the membership.

The Member Contribution Programme (MCP) allows every family to:

This means:

• We don’t have to raise fees across the board
• Families stay involved and connected
• We stay sustainable without losing our community spirit

So how do our costs compare?
We looked at a range of local junior sports clubs — hockey, swimming, football, rugby, netball and tennis — and worked out an estimated cost per hour to give a fair comparison.
