Mike is passionate about the club having been involved in a variety of roles including; junior age group manager, junior pitch coordinator, senior section membership secretary, Vets Festival committee member and is a regular umpire for seniors and juniors. He has previously organised visits to the Olympic Park and introduced the first online membership system for juniors. Both his daughters have been through the junior club from first picking up a stick – one as a social player, one on the player pathway. He is extremely enthusiastic about seeing juniors develop both as hockey players and young people and is comfortable to challenge the established way of doing things to seek continuous improvement.
