Louise Baldwin is seeking sponsors as she takes on the 2025 London Marathon to raise funds for Moorfields Eye Hospital, following the life-changing care her mother (umpire Anne Bartley) received after a freak accident at an indoor hockey match in December 2023.
Moorfields has been instrumental in providing expert treatment and support, and Louise is determined to give back by running 26.2 miles and raising vital funds for their work.
“Moorfields have provided incredible treatment and support to Mum, and I am running the London Marathon as a small token to say a massive thank you for the care they have given,” said Louise.
Louise’s fundraising efforts will help ensure Moorfields can continue to provide world-class eye care and pioneering research. Any donations and support for her marathon journey would be greatly appreciated.
