Sevenoaks women are a welcoming and friendly bunch. We have a thriving programme that offers members well-organised, competitive and sociable hockey, training and matches. We have 8 women’s sides playing weekly in Leagues on a Saturday ranging from the 1st XI who compete in England Hockey National League Division 1 South, to the 7th XI who are in South East Women's Division 4 Invicta. We also run successful Vets teams (O35 and O45), indoor teams that compete in National competitions and also a range of Cup Competitions (including the summer) that gives a chance for those who want to play more frequently to play with different groups.

All of the women’s teams have training sessions offered mid week and these sessions are led by a team of well qualified and enthusiastic coaches. We also have regular and dedicated GK coaching. Selection for matches is overseen by the Chair of Selectors and as would be expected there is fluidity and throughout the season players might play for more than one team. Captains play a crucial role in managing their teams throughout the week and on match days, although there is often a coach or manager (or both) on the sideline to assist.
