Food and drink - The clubhouse will be open for coffee and refreshments all day. We will also be putting on a BBQ from 11am and an ice cream van will be in attendance.

Rules – U14 Boys
• The tournaments will be a round robin tournament, with a final and third /
fourth playoff after the group stage.
• Every team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches
• Each match will be 15 minutes split into two halves.
• In the group stages 3 points will be awarded for a win and 1 for a draw. In the
event of two teams being level on points it will be decided by goal difference
then goals scored. If it is still level it will be decided on a coin toss who
progresses.
• Indoor hockey rules with 3D skills and lifted passes allowed i.e. no drilling or
hitting is allowed.
• There is no D – you can score from anywhere and the GK can touch the ball
anywhere.
• Aerials are permitted if not dangerous.
• There will be no penalty corners during the tournament to speed up play. In
the case of a a foul, such as a foot or back stick, a free hit from the half-way
line will be awarded.
• Deliberate or dangerous actions will result in a 8-second shootout from the
half-way line.
• Defenders must be 3m away from the free hit.
• If a player does not retreat 3m from a free hit a 8-second shootout will be
awarded
• The ball must travel 3m on attacking free hits before shots.
• If the ball leaves the field, the restart is 1m inside boards from where the ball
went out.
• Deliberate foul play – 30 second yellow card.
